APPLICATION FOR THE SETTING OF A RENEWABLE SOURCE GAS (RSG) INJECTION TARIFF AND APPROVAL OF APPLICABLE PRINCIPLES AND METHODS
(Case R-4342-2026)

The Régie de l’énergie (the Régie) will hold a public hearing to examine an application from Enbridge Gaz Québec (EGQ) for the establishment of a tariff for the injection of renewable source gas (RSG) (the Application).

THE APPLICATION 

The Application seeks the Régie’s authorization for the establishment of an RSG injection tariff and approval of a methodology for setting the rates making up the said tariff, which will be applied in applications regarding investments to connect RSG producers’ facilities to EGQ’s distribution network. EGQ is also submitting proposed amendments to the Conditions of Service and Tariff in order to add certain provisions related to serving this new customer base and implementing the new injection tariff.

APPLICATIONS TO INTERVENE 

Any interested party wishing to participate in the examination of the Application must file a request to intervene, in accordance with the Rules of procedure of the Régie de l’énergie (the Rules) and the Régie’s instructions in Decision D-2026-080, by noon on August 26, 2026. They must also attach the Liste des sujets form listing the subjects they intend to address (the Form). As stipulated in the Guide de paiement des frais 2020 (the Guide), interested parties planning to submit a claim for costs must file a participation budget with their application to intervene, using the prescribed forms.

EGQ may file comments on applications to intervene no later than noon on September 2, 2026. Interested parties may file responses to such comments no later than noon on September 8, 2026.
