RÉGIE DE L’ÉNERGIE
APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF SUPPLY PLAN AND AMENDMENTS TO THE CONDITIONS OF SERVICE AND TARIFF OF ÉNERGIR, S.E.C. EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2026 (CASE R-4334-2026)
The Régie de l’énergie (the Régie) will hold a public hearing to consider the application by Énergir, s.e.c. (Énergir) for approval of its supply plan and the setting of its rates effective October 1, 2026 (the Application).
On March 31, 2026, Énergir filed evidence relating to its 2027-2030 gas supply, the Global Energy Efficiency Plan, the pricing and functionalization of costs for the Sainte-Sophie renewable natural gas (RNG) injection site, and the temporary receipt rate for the Société d’économie mixte d’énergie renouvelable. Énergir will complete the filing of other evidence required to establish the Conditions of Service and Tariff, effective October 1, 2026, around mid-May 2026.
REQUESTS TO INTERVENE AND MATTERS ADDRESSED
In accordance with Decision D-2026-043, the Régie automatically recognizes the intervenors in cases R-4287-2024 and R-4320-2025, concerning 2025-2026 rates and various RNG-related measures respectively, as intervenors in this case. Other persons wishing to participate in the examination of Énergir’s Application must file a request to intervene with the Régie, accompanied by the Liste des sujets form listing the subjects they intend to address.
The Régie requests that intervenors and any other interested parties confirm their participation in the case or file a request to intervene by no later than noon on May 6, 2026.
