RÉGIE DE L’ÉNERGIE
APPLICATION FROM THE CARRIER AND THE DISTRIBUTOR REGARDING THEIR RESPECTIVE MECHANISMS FOR HANDLING ACCUMULATED SURPLUSES AND SHORTFALLS (Case R-4344-2026)
The Régie de l’énergie (the Régie) will hold a public hearing to examine Hydro-Québec’s application to establish the terms of its mechanisms for handling accumulated surpluses and shortfalls (Case R-4344-2026).
THE APPLICATION
Hydro-Québec when carrying on electric power transmission and distribution activities has filed an application with the Régie to set the terms of its mechanisms for handling accumulated surpluses and deficits, and its variance and deferral accounts, among other things.
APPLICATIONS TO INTERVENE
Any person wishing to participate in the examination of Hydro-Québec’s application must file with the Régie, by noon on August 24, 2026, a request to intervene, accompanied by the Liste des sujets form listing the subjects they intend to address and, if applicable, a participation budget, in accordance with the Rules of procedure of the Régie de l’énergie (the Rules) and the Guide de paiement des frais des intervenants 2020 (the Guide).
